Description

This is a white1970Porsche911 Targa with less than 6000 miles on a rebuilt 2.0 liter engine.

It's a manual 5 speed, 2 wheel drive running carbs and has an AM-FM Stereo.

It's located in central Florida and has been garage-kept for many years.

I purchased this 911 in 1990 inNewport Beach, California and restored it that summer with my father, driving it back to Florida. It had theaftermarket bumpers, flared fenders and rocker panels & moldings (not shown) when I bought it.
Even though it was garage-kept, the heat and humidity of Florida eventually took its toll.I was planning on restoring it again, but I just don't have the time, money, skills or patience it deserves.
The engine in the vehicle is a 2.0L (VIN 6195469) that was rebuilt (I have documentation) and has less than 6000 miles on it.
I ALSO have a 2.2L engine (VIN 6107822) that was in the vehicle when I purchased it. I'm willing to sell that separately. Odometer at that time read approximately 50K and I probably put another 5K miles on it before I swapped out engines. It was running fine at the time of replacement but my Dad felt more comfortable with me having a rebuilt engine that was also a bit slower than the 2.2L. Safety first! This engine IS NOT a part of THIS deal but I will package it together with this car if you want to work that out.
Interior includes a Fittipaldisteeringwheel and FloFit seats with 4-point harnesses. This vehicle has never been raced, street or otherwise, but again put in for safety.
Other notes:I still have the originalsteeringwheel, spare wheel and shiftknob, as well as the aftermarket rocker panels and moldings.
I've included an image of the trunk space to show that thebatteryboxes are in good condition. However, I wanted to point out that there is some rust in the front part of the trunk area as shown.
Most of thechrome partshave been painted, but they are the original parts.
There is amolded plastic dash coverin the photos. The original dash has a crack in it. I can remove it and take a photo of it if desired.
