Description

1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet.Air-cooled.94 was the last year of this original 911 body style. Have you seen the prices of the air-cooled 911s going through the roof.Try and find one for under $40k that isn't a piece of junk.Black exterior, white linen interior (it is a light gray), Top works great and looks great.Paint is in great shape. This car runs perfect.Weekend car for the last 2 years as I have been fixing it up.Just spent over $10k on mechanical items.Too much to list, have all receipts.Just registered and passed smog with flying colors. The smog test guys were amazed!!Seriously, wait until you see how low the numbers were.Compression is 185 and 190 across all cylinders. leak down is 5 and 6%. Valve adjustment just done, it does not smoke at all. Distributors rebuilt, new spark plugs. Interior needs to be completed as you can see from the pics. And needs a new rear window. My mechanic said I should change the interior color to all black, I kind of like the lighter interior. So I thought I would let the new owner decide and do it the way they wanted to.I think maybe a tastefully donetwo-tone would be nice.It has the much sought after "rear seat delete" option.White gauge faces, all gauges work, all electrical works, power top goes up and down as it should, 130k miles.Runs perfect, shifts great, good clutch.Previous owner put two amps under the hood which is a little over kill for this small cockpit.A/C is super cold but blower fans make noise.I have replacement ones but have not installed them yet.Handles great.Missing carpet on driver side but when you re-do the interior, you can get the right one.Power windows work great.Always garaged and only driven on weekends. Power windows work great. Very minor oil drip at chain cover. No rust. If I don't get my price, I will re-do the interior and sell it as complete. I'm kind of testing the waters. Are you ready to spend $2k on the interior and have a $55k car? Clean title in my name. Pink slip in hand.
