1962 Porsche 356B
Description
Am relisting this vehicle again because the "winner" the first time around never paid...Up for auction is a 1962 Porsche 356B. Was originally sold as new in Germany and transferred to the U.S. by a previous owner. This car had been stripped completely of paint, down to bare metal. Both rocker panels were replaced as was the front half of the floor pan. The front fenders and rear quarter areas were warped by a sand blaster without pressure regulation, so those areas need to be addressed. At the time of purchase the engine had only approximately 5,000 miles on a rebuild to Super 90 specs, with new clutch and only a few hundred miles more driven while I owned it. Car ran great but has not been started for about five years. It has always been garaged. This vehicle does have a clear title. Chassis number: 122938 Engine number: P*0800670* Precise original mileage is unknown, and there is no number figure on the current title. Best guess is a few thousand miles more than the just under 60K miles shown on the odometer, which was not working shortly before the car was previously sold. Everything shown in the pictures is included - body, original suspension, engine, transaxle, gauges, etc. - no additional parts are included. Full payment, via bank wire transfer, within 7 days of end of auction.
