The Fine Print
This cars paint and body is in beautiful condition. The passenger side door has a small door ding which a paint-less dent removal person should find easy to remove. The rear inner side panels were removed when cage was installed. I have a pair that I planned to fit around the cage but I never got to this. I will include these panels with the car. The black on the lower front valence has chips in the paint and should be touched up. The RUF wheel lips do not have rash but do have some nicks and imperfections. I attempted to redo the clear coat on one but it didn't come out well so i didn't continue.
I will gladly show this car but please no tire kickers.
This is simply a fantastic one of a kind 930. The new owner will never regret this purchase.
Thanks for looking.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
It has been pointed out to me that Hagerty estimates the value of these 1988 930's at $178K. I assume that would be for a stock low miles 930. Being that my miles are so low I have toyed with the idea of putting it back to stock. The math clearly works as the value of the low miles 3.5 engine, Motec Engine Management, ADL Dash, and G50/50 should conservatively bring in $35k. Add another $7k for RSR coilovers, big brake kits, safety devices cage, Ruf - wheels - bumpers - oil cooler - boost gauge, Weltmeister sway bars, and you have over $40k to work with. Buying and installing the stock parts I have estimated at no more than $25k. In a month of weekends and nights you could have a beautiful stock low mileage 930 with some money left over and a 930 worth even more money. That said once you drive this you will likely want to leave it stock even if you start collecting the parts.
Thanks for looking and listening!
