1981 PORSCHE 911SC COUPE.

You are bidding on a wonderful 1981 Porsche 911 SC coupe presented in platinum metallic over chocolate interior. I just recently spent over $13,000 on repair and restoration of the motor. This car is in great overall condition with only 118K miles and a clean Carfax. You can read below about some of the various aspects of the car. I am a rather particular guy and i tend to over exaggerate flaws to insure who ever gets the car is pleased and not disappointed. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Body and paint

The body is in great condition overall, the only visible flaw is the passenger side rocker panel near the rear wheel which is a little bent and could use a little straightening out. The paint on the car is in good shape aside from some speckling on the front valance. It has been repainted and the paint work is very good but not spectacular or show quality.

Interior

Nice overall condition. The dash has a visible crack but is solid and not warped otherwise. The seats are in good condition and feel firm. The floor mats are in nice shape but not original to the car. The headliner has had repair work done that looks good but not absolutely perfect. I would like to emphasis the fact that i am very critical and the items i mentioned are not uncommon for a car with this type of mileage.

Mechanical

Excellent mechanical condition, the motor has basically been completely rebuilt less than 200 miles ago along with a new clutch and some other random repairs done at the time. The car also has the carrera chain tensioner upgrade. This car runs and drives extremely well and won’t disappoint.
