This is something special. This beauty started life in 2001 as a ground up restoration of a stolen car. All work was done by renowned Porsche specialists Rennsport in Houston Texas. My father worked directly with the lead mechanic, Mike Callas, to insure this car was perfect. The engine was rebuilt to factory specifications using updated Porsche parts available at the time. The only non original parts are the tires and rims, the JVC stereo system with GPS as well as the fiberglass front fenders which were ordered to accommodate the HID headlights which were a 5000.00 upgrade alone. I have all records of the rebuild as well as the maintenance since then. This is a well loved car that has been garaged and driven casually since the time of the rebuild. It has 45,000 total miles with 37,000 being since the rebuild. I bought this car from my dad in 2010 and have found I just don't drive it enough to justify keeping it.
Because this car was stolen it is a salvage title which is free and clear. The mechanic who did the rebuild as well as maintenance while my dad owned the car sadly passes inOctober 2015. His assistant at Rennsport (Warren) may beable to answer any questions about the rebuild. I am asking 34,990.00 for the car which is in line with what similar models with a lot more mileage and fewer upgrades are selling for. The car will be sold As Is.
