1970 911T
Description
1970 911T Really nice, solid original example. 'S' steel front spoiler, originally desirable Signal Orange (code1414) but painted Guards Red by second owner in late 70's. Black interior in above average condition looks serviceable as-is, dash is cracked in usual spot, gauges are original. Headliner intact, has minor staining. Door trim pads excellent. Original motor is locked from sitting, I have not tried to free it up, car does not run. Second owner a Doctor in Akron Ohio purchased car in New York in 1976 and drove it regularly until the early 90's when family & his practice became main priorities. Porsche was stored in back of his garage until 2014 when I acquired it. I have no history before second owner who is still practicing in Ohio, I have his contact info and will pass it along to new owner. Car needs a major mechanical refurbishment and the nice part is that this example has not been modified or neglected to the elements. Car rolls and steers without resistance. I have the original air cleaner but car is missing rear bumper guards. Only rust I could find was in the RH forward bumper receiver as shown in pic, LH is far more solid. Floor & rockers are solid, LH rear section of floor has been properly patched, see pics. Five matching '69' date coded Fuchs w/ ancient Michelin XVS tires, original service jack in place. Smugglers box & front floor area rock solid. Side and rear glass original, I see no stamping on windscreen, badges are original. Car is available to be viewed weekdays during business hours at my shop-car can be rack inspected as well. Clear Illinois title in my dealerships name, inquire about applicable taxes before bidding. Ask questions/schedule a viewing/request additional pics-I will be happy to comply. International bidders are welcomed as I have shipped cars to Europe and will be happy to assist with transportation to port at buyer's expense.
