1987 Renault GTA convertible 2.0 AMC Alliance

Up for sale is a beautiful 1987 Renault GTA convertible that is in EXCELLENT running condition! It is a solid car with not any bondo and not even any floor patches. An extremely rare and interesting piece of 80’s historythat makes for an inexpensive summer weekend driver that gets lots of thumbs ups!Performance for price aside,It was totally reliable, cheap to maintain, and actually decent fun to drive. Made by AMC also known as a beefed up Alliance. If you're looking at this you probably know all about it. I purchased this car over 6 months ago and I quickly restored it on my spare time. I have invested a great amount of money into it and sadly I have to let it go. I do not have the place to store it anymore. Vehicle does run and drive well. Engine runs good and transmission shifts fine. Steering is excellent and suspension is mostly new. Electrical all work with no known problems. All lights, switches, fan, heat work great. Interior in stock and excellent shape all around. I have replaced a lot of parts since I bought it. Here's a list of what I remember:I have added a new top, new carpet, complete tune-up, new brakes, new a/c blows cold, new blaunkpukt am/fm cassette radio circa 1987, new antenna, new speakers, new fuel pump, original fog lights.Shock absorbers (all 4) rear wheel bearings, lower ball joints, tie rod ends, brake master cylinder, license plate lights, interior carpet, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Tires are less than a year old with less than 1000 miles on. Body is in excellent shape, straight, dent free and ZERO RUST. Electric Convertible top works fine and top was replaced 3 MONTHS ago. All glass is nice. Bumpers were just worked on due to cracking paint. Car is currently registered and tabbed. Selling as is no warranty.
