1988 Pontiac / Ferrari 288 GTO / 4.9l aluminum V8 / WITH 2017 CargoMate Hauler

Here we have a 1988 Pontiac Fiero with the Ferrari 288 GTO replica kit. It originally had the stock Fiero v6 engine, which was gutless and not reliable, but now has the Cadillac 4.9l aluminum v8 with a 5 speed manual transmission from an Isuzu. The car does not run at this time because the gentleman that was building it passed away. I've got a file of paperwork on it and after doing much research did find that this is the correct build for these replicas. The car only needs a few more things to finish it off. Once completed it will be a one of a kind replica.
This car is a rolling car. Engine and transmission are installed with drive axles. Engine needs finishing, whether you want to go fuel injection or go with a carb, that choice is up to you. I personally like the carb for it's simplicity. One of my pictures shows the parts needed to finish it up and it also appears like it was in the process of putting in roller rocker arms. Mileage was from original engine and transmission.
Car body is good but sure could use some minor adjusting. Also the air dam is cracked and the rear lid has a cutout because I guess the latch got stuck. All fiberglass parts are there. By-the-way, the rear lid lays flat. It is propped up on the hinges in the pictures.
Also part of the package is a 2017 CargoMate, 20th Anniversary Enclosed Car Hauler. It is 8'4"x20' plus an 18" v nose on it. It is in really good condition and the interior is lined. Has a few scratches and minor dents and dirty but otherwise a great trailer. Also has LED lights. Car fits perfect with about 12" on each side of car and about 6' in front plus the v nose for storage of parts.

Auction is for 2017 trailer, 1988 Replica, and all parts associated with it, and there are a lot of them.Both titles are clear Washington State and in my name. The 1988 fiero title states that it is a Replica under Series/Body and that it weighs 2499 pounds. I guess that all is a really big deal.
