Description
1991 Rolls RoyceSilver Spirit II
.
Body: There are is no body damage or rust, the chrome is excellent as are all trim parts, the paint has some age but is very presentable, there is no glass damage. The headlights have no cracks, one wheel cover is missing the center emblem (available on ebay $60.00)
Interior: The interior is very good with very little wear, the carpet and wood are very good. The leather headliner is excellent, there is an after market stereo system but nothing was modified to install it and no new speakerholes were cut.
Mechanical: I know of no issues, there are no warning lights on, the brakes are excellent. I just took the car on a five hundredmile road trip and it performed beautifully. The tires have good tread and all gauges work properly. The power antenna, clock and windows all work well.
History: The car stared as a southern California car where it spent most of its life before being brought to Canada. This Rolls Royce is located in Victoria, British Columbia and has never been driven in snow or in bad weather for that matter.
Reason for selling: I bought this car to use at my vacation home on Vancouver Island. When I stared looking for a Rolls Royce I was very particular, I wanted a car that was in excellent condition with low miles. I did not want a car that was restored or refurbished or had any mechanical issues. It had to have an excellent interior and no modifications. It took a while but after a long search I found the right car. As we only use the car duringthe summer months we have decidedto replace it with a convertible. A few months ago I bought a Rolls Royce Corniche and I don't have indoor parking space for two cars, so as much as I hate to do it, I have to sell the Spirit.
Over all: This is a stunning car that has has led a charmed life. It is in all ways exactly what you would expect from a well looked after 49,000 mile Rolls Royce. If you are in the market for an affordable Rolls Royce that does not need thousandsof dollars spent on it to bring it up to standards than this may be the right car for you.
Payment: I am offering this car with a starting bid at half of what I paid for it, with no reserve, because I'm serious about selling it. If you are not certainyou can complete the sale please do not bid.I make no exceptions on payment, it is due in full within 5 days of the end of the auction. You must contact me with 24 hours of the close of the auction to confirm payment and pick up arrangements. Payment by bank wire transfer or cash in person is acceptable. I can arrange storage in secure underground parking at the buyers expense (90.00 per month) if the buyer needs extra time.
Shipping and Importation:
US buyers... The car is located in Victoria Canada about an hour and a half ferry ride from Seattle. I can ship the car to Blaine Washington for 350.00. US Customs will charge duty of about 3% of the purchase price, I am very familiar with the process and will help with the necessary paperwork to import and title the car in your state (it is a simple process on a vintage car). I have just had this car on a long road trip and there were no issues, I see no reason why a buyer could not fly in and enjoy visiting Victoria for a few days before driving it home.
Over seas buyers... I can deliver the car to the ship yards at the Port of Vancouver at no charge and will work with your broker to help with the importation.
If you have any questions please send me an email or call 250-515-1110 I am often out of the cellular service area but if you leave a message I will call you back as soon as I can. Scammers: I have heard it all before don't waste my time. Good luck and thanks for looking |
