1972 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW AUTOMOBILE
Description
I have owned this Rolls for over 10 years. When I bought it I was working. Now that I'm retired, I just don't have the money to finish the rest of the restoration. I have invested over $26K in it. The heads have been reworked. Both of the carburators have been rebuilt. The paint job ($4,500) is about 3 years old. The load leveling/ rear braking receptacles (2) have been rebuilt. The transmission was rebuilt about 2 years ago. 4 new tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The battery is 8 months old. It looks great and will drive anywhere. HOWEVER, The upholstery leather needs to be softened and redyed. The driver's seat has a small tear, which needs to be repaired. The 2 rear power windows do not work. The original radio does not work and the antenna needs to be replaced. The gas guage works, but it could use a new float in the tank. Air conditioning works well, but the air only blows out of the console vent, it does not blow out of the 2 dash vents. The speedometer works, but the odometer does not. It will take about $3,000 to complete. This IS NOT a junker. It has the potential to be a really nice old Rolls. I've tried to be as honest as possible. If you want a fun car that's a real head turner this is it. Would make a great wedding car. Please Email me with any questions you might have.
