1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spur II

Re-listing this auction:This is a nice driving RR Silver Spur II that is not a show car, but presents and drives nicely. It has had dealer and independent service but I have no records.All original factory books and manuals accompany the car.There is a host of minor paint issues that I have tried to photograph, but overall the car presents well - door edge chips, 1-2 door dings and road patina. There are a few dings in the paint, but overall it is highly reflective and flat - nice quality paint.The interior is beautiful, with a good quality stereo and is wired for Sirius Satelite radio. The leather has some patina and age to it (mainly just the drivers seat) but still looks very nice, as does the carpeting. There is some light sun bleaching to the rear parcel shelf area - it could be conditioned or dyed - or tint the glass.The interior smells wonderful and like every other RR - like expensive materials.The wood trim is mostly intact and gorgeous, but has the usual RR cracking in several of the higher wear areas - it is not horribly detracting from the overall beauty of the interior.Tires and battery are new.The car runs and drives well, shifts, brakes and steers as it should.All instruments and ancillaries are working fine, the AC is not cold, but the compressor kicks on when AC is selected - it likely needs a charge.There is a chip in the windshield that could be filled.The car has the following options: burl door cards and visor mirror covers, european style headlamps and a fully painted roof, instead of the Everflex vinyl. No pinstripe.
I would recommend having a mechanic or Rolls proficient enthusiast look the car over - to be a concours contender it would need a minor restoration, however to be a very sharp driver it would need only some time and attention to bring it to the next level.I have driven the car 200 miles in a day and it performed beautifully - and was a pleasure to drive - it is still fussed over by parking attendants and parking valets.Reserve is fair for the Spur market and for the tremendous car for $ value.
