Description

Good day everyone. 1982 Rolls Royce Silver Spur Long Wheelbase. White with a white Everflex top and light gray leather with matching gray pinstripe. This top of the line Silver Spur is in very good overall condition for an original unrestored 1982 car. 39k miles. The drivetrain is in excellent condition. Starts, runs and drives excellent. You can hardly hear the engine running. Smooth and powerful on the highway. I have had several Rolls Royce/Bentley cars of this era in the past and this one is by far, the most reliable example I ever drove. Had the car for 6 years and it never let me down once. Does not run hot or cold, just right. No smoke or funny noises. The electrical system is surprisingly good. All the power windows work, the power antenna works, the power locks, the stereo, the heat ect. The body is very solid. No rust holes or dents. The paint is decent. The top is ok, some little rips starting but again, it is the original top from 82. Tires are good. Brakes stop the car fine, although the pedal has been feeling spongy over the last year. The power steering has a leak so that is going to need attention, however, it steers straight on the highway at speed. The front windshield developed a chip 4 years ago which has now turned into a crack. Passenger front side amber corner lamp lens needs to be replaced. Just the lens itself. The interior is presentable but needs some care. The lower back seat cushion on the driver side rear seat needs to be replaced which you can see in a photo. Wood on the dash is decent, wood on the doors is excellent. Carpets are very good. The rear window has a small leak which I reseal from time to time, due to that leak, the trunk has a musty damp odor. The trunk is solid. I drive the car to work several times a month and take it to car shows during the spring and summer months. This Roller still impresses to the max. The car still gets the front row parking spots on Saturday nights at any fine Restaurant. I am picking up a newer model R/R which is the only reason this car is for sale. The sticker price on this car was over $120,000 in 1982.
I believe I covered everything possible. This is a respectable driver in need of TLC, not a brand new Rolls Royce. If you have any questions, or, if you would like to discuss the car over the phone with me, please let me know. Note.... It takes time and cost money to hold an auction so serious bidders please. My feedback has always been 100% positive since I joined Ebay over 16 years ago which says alot. I tell it like it is. There is a $100 starting price and the reserve is Ridiculously Low. More than fair compared to some other similar Rolls Royce prices seen online. It's time to sell so the car is price to sell, period. Thank you.

Reserve is not far off. Best buy on a good looking Rolls Royce that you can get in and drive. The reserve is pocket change for a car like this. Alot of flash for little money. Turns heads every time I drive it. I have more photos if anyone would like to see. I can also text a video showing how smooth and quiet she runs.

Thank you for the nice comments and interest. I just lowered the reserve so it's only a few hundred dollars away now. My new car arrives in 2 weeks so I need the garage space. You can't beat this price. Winning bidder should be pleased.
