Description

Thank you for stopping by:
Up for Auction today is a pretty special car, a 1989 SAAB 900 S 16 valve "WOOD EDITION"Hatchback.
This is the iconic first generation or known as "Classic" 900 body style, one of the best looking vehicles SAAB built and one of my favorite to drive. I have owned at-least 4 of these and this is exterior wise one of my favorites. I purchased this car as fun daily driver. Its your typical mechanic special, honest car, has its usual rust bubble here and there and cracked dash and faded interior. But boy what a work horse, starts every time with pep and that 16 valve inverted FWD 4 cylinder is bullet proof. The car itself is your typical SAAB, over engineered to last, yet simple to operate and maintain. The car's manual sunroof works well, all buttons and options work including lights, high beams, turn signals, horn, and radio was replaced with modern CD player offering AUX jack for iPod ect. Trunk offers alot of room with large mechanics owners manual fix it book. I also have the original SAAB Owner's Manual which comes in the glove box. Car comes with both the ignition and trunk key. Title is clear and in my name, some extra parts in the trunk. HVAC fan blows in low, medium and high but im not sure if its the heater coil or what not but could not get much heat out of her, and air conditioning does not blow cold. I do have an external heater that plugs into the 12v that I used during the winter that is included.
I did purchase 4 brand new tires last fall (Hankook Optimo all weather touring tires), mounted and balanced with new valve stems allowing this baby to drive wonderfully when I took it out in the winter time. Since I have owned it it has been garage kept. The previous owners father owned a auto garage so they actually did quite a bit of servicing and kept her performing well. Any questions feel free to ask away. Highest bidder takes car, I just moved into a condo and don't have the space for a leased Cadillac, a Saab, and a moped. She needs to go to a good home and my clutter is your win!!
Winning bidder is responsible for pick up and payment there upon. I do not use Paypal and their greedy usage fee. Thanks for your time and GOOD LUCK!!

*I do want to make a clear note, just in case it is not apparent by the vehicle you see in front of you. In no way, shape, or formis the "wood edition" an actual trademark trim level used or endorsed by SAAB. I just want to make that clear. lol an older gentlemen who I will notname, names expressed concern I did not outright state this is not a factory trim level. My apologies, "This is not a factory installed trim level." purely custom!
