ex- renowned Saab guru and UK specialist - Chris Partington Saab 96 '65 racer built and tested with no expense spared.

Completely rebuilt, prepped and strengthened shell as per works Saab Race & Rally preparation.
Group II engine fitted with Cegway flat top pistons modified for reed valve application ( higher skirt ) Spec II gear ratio cluster. 7:40 CW&P. Salisbury LSD.
Sport 4 stud hubs, brakes and drive train Koni dampers. race springs. Revised geometry to eliminate as much understeer as possible. A lot of time has been spent on handling.
Twin Peirburg fuel pumps. Sonett carbs with reed valves. Modified XP racing exhaust, all dyno tested and producing around 101BHP at the front wheels with excellent reliability.
With the car is a large spares package amongst which there is 4 or 5 EMS 5" soccer type wheels fitted with standard tyres these are used for “standing” to prevent damage to the race tyre as well as MOT should your race category require one. There is also several different CW&P to set up a desired gear ratio for a particular circuit.
8 original Ronal 5 1/2". 5 of which are fitted with race tyres Dunlop CR65-204 These were purchased in June 09 but still seem in race condition although a little heat input helps.
The ignition is by Interspan. Fully mappable.
A selection of jets will be provided.
In the parts there is everything to convert the car back to road spec if anyone should ever wish to.
Cost over £100,000 to develop and build, lots of documentation, FIA paperwork and history.
V5 registration is present, plenty of race and tuning notes.
