Description

Glass bodied 427 S/C Continuation series, serial number CSX4952. This is one of the last of the 4000 series cars built. This is one very special serpent! This fully documented car is registered in the World Registry of Cobras! Built by the artisans of HST International, with fit and finish second to none! Titled and registered here in Hawaii as a 1965 Ford. I am the second owner. Born on date is June 2010.

Under the hood: Roush 427SR, serial # 841 (spec sheet included), dyno’d at 502 HP with a brutal 521 Lbs/torque! MSD ignition with 9mm wires, 9.5 inch deck height, Iron 4-bolt block, Steel crank, H-beam rods, Forged pistons, Aluminum CNC ported heads, Roller cam, Dual plane intake, Holley 770 CFM"Street Avenger" 4-barrel carb (electric choke set up for mild tropical temperatures). This car weighs in at only 2600 lbs but punches at 502 HP! Cooling performed by the huge Fluidyne aluminum 4-core radiator, assisted by triple electric cooling fans (one massive puller & two up front pushers). Ceramic coated headers connect to the beautifully jet coated side pipes. Firewall and tunnel insulated to help keep cockpit temperatures down.

Geartrain: Mcleod clutch assemble in the steel Quick Time bellhousing. Tremec TKO 5-speed gearbox, (great for highways) Shelby aluminum IRS differential housing.

Chassis: stock 15” original Halibrand-styled pin-drive wheels, shod with genuine Avon rubber. Original-style round-tube frame with 4" main frame rails, dual A-arms and fully adjustable coil-over shocks, rack & pinion steering, Shelby 4-piston front/rear-disc brakes with Shelby calipers; chrome roll bar, black powdered coated quick jacks.

In the cockpit: Shelby gauges [with 'correct' reverse-winding speedometer], original styled hardwood-rimmed steering wheel. Period correct pedals, premium leather upholstery. Glove box, door map pockets, and American Shelby Cobra floor mats, Simpson lap belts. 2 sets of keys for ignition/glove box, & carpeted trunk. Battery cut off switch disconnects the dual (red) Optimum 6V (series wired) batteries. Driver’s seat track removed to maximize space. Genuine CSX 4952 dash plaque mounted on glove box door.

The stunning Guardsman blue paint is gorgeous with correct LeMans white stripes. The paint is deep with a look of another dimension-a must see! Clear bra on nose/rear fender well/rear lower fenders. Only 3572.7 miles! This beauty of a beast stored in a climate controlled garage here in Ewa Beach, Hawaii & had a recent application of Fluid Film applied to nuts/bolts/screws/grounds/etc./ underneath. Manufactures Statement of Origin (MSO) signed by the late Mr. Carroll Shelby. Car cover, and dash Hula girl included!
