1994 EXCALIBER SHELBY COBRA 427

Description

This is a 1994 Excalibur Shelby 427 Cobra. Excalibur MotorCompany built in their factory new, an estimated 172 units of these 1965 ACCobra cars which were D.O.T. approved. One look at this car and you willrealize this car was built in a factory under controlled conditions, not builtin a garage by a group of people using spare parts that happened to be layingaround. When Excalibur designed this car, they lengthened the wheelbaseslightly to accommodate taller drivers. I am 6' 03'" and I fit in the carcomfortably. The current mileage on the car is 7,000, it will change slightlyas I do drive it on very sunny days, the Ford 5.0-liter fuel injected engine isunaltered as built by Excalibur. The car has the original Tremac-5-speed andFord 9" rear Differential as built by Excalibur, they are unaltered. TheHeaders and entire exhaust system were hand built in 2016 and are 100%stainless steel, the side pipes & heat shields are ceramic coated black.Front brakes were replaced with new Wildwood calipers, all new brake lines wereinstalled at the time. Rear brake calipers are new O.E.M. (to retain factoryparking brake), new brakes were installed at that time. Radiator was removed and professionallyre-cored. Front suspension was completely removed and replaced in 2016 with anew Heist system, QA1 adjustable shocks were added. Rear suspension was removedand replaced with a bolt-in complete Heist 4-link system, at the same time in2016 the rear shocks and coil springs were replaced. The car comes with a softtop that stows in trunk. This car has never been on a race track or it hasnever been abused.
