Description

This is a Factory Five Mark IV Roadster - 1965 Shelby Cobra replica.
All brand new components went into this car.
Completed mock up minus body work and paint in October 2012, drove the car for about 4 months to work out bugs and have it titled and tagged.
Pulled off the body and began body work sometime around February 2013. After completion of body work, it sat up in my garage until October 2015 at which time I had it professionally painted by Detroit City Customs in Ocala, Florida. The color is Ford Ruby Red.
The engine is a Blueprint Engines small block Ford 302 that has been bored and stroked to 347 cubic inches (installed new engine in April 2016, has 1,400 miles on it). Dyno sheet provided with engine shows 411 hp and 421 lbs/ft of torque.
Fuel system is a FITECH Go EFI 8 injector throttle body efi and is a self learning system. The FITECH will support upgrades up to 1200 hp to include boost or NOS and sits on top of an Edelbrock AirGap aluminum intake. Fuel pump is a Walbro in tank high flow pump capable of over 100 psi and will also support upgrades.
Ignition is an MSD High Performance Electronic Ignition System with timing and spark controlled by the FITECH EFI routed through an MSD 6AL ignition box.
Transmission is a Tremec TKO 600 close ratio 5 speed manual and rear end is a 3 link Moser 8.8" w/331 Gear Set and Traction-Lok differential (have a Motive Gear 373 gear set to go with it). Clutch is a Ram Dual Friction race clutch with a MCleod steel bell housing and MCleod hydraulic throw-out bearing.
Wheels are 17" Halibrand Cobra replicas with Nitto NT555 tires all around (rears are drag radials). This car weighed 2,180 pounds at time of mock up, probably weighs about 2,400 pounds since paint and completion.
Although I've never been to a drag strip I can tell you this Cobra is extremely quick, fast, and agile. This Cobra was built to be driven. Great show car.
