Description

So here is a chance to grab a really different type of car. It's a studebaker sedan from 1939! The car run's and drives as it is right now! the previous owner had the car for over 35 years and during that time installed a 1981 toyota corolla 1.8 hemi style 4 cylinder motor with the matching automatic transmission. The drive shaft was modified to fit and it was off and driving. The original motor had failed and this was a solution. The car run's great and is a driver. The rest of the car is all studebaker except the procar front bucket seats. I have the original seats to go with the car but it's just the frames no foam or covers. The rear seat is made to be a patform but I have that frame also. The panels in front that say 1939 we made to cover the missing grill holes they are bolted to the original grill holes and can be removed once thr grills are located I do have one side grill and most of the stainless trim if not all of it. The floors have been repaired over the years but I see a couple of the body mounts need some attetion. The wipers are vacum and not working but a swap to electric motors will fix that. The doors all open and close fine. The brakes are working and the car is usable as is. Would be a great rat rod or street rod or you can just drive it like it is and get all the attention you want!. This car turns heads and is a one of a kind with that motor and trans swap. So don't miss out on a great deal for a piece of american automotive history! Please ask me anything you need to know or make your decision to buy this special car!

I fixed the low hanging muffler so its up tight to the body. As I drive the car around I will keep updating the improvments I make on it. It has been turning heads all week on my way to and from work!
