1962 Studebaker Gran Truismo Hawk
Description
A true "Barn Find" car has been parked in a garage since the late 1970's. Car is rusty in spots (see pictures). Frame is solid. Car is equipped with a later 1964 Studebaker 289 V8, full flow engine. Has what is commonly refereed to as "Cloverleaf" engine which mean it was a factory supplied replacement engine. Other features included, Factory Radio, Factory auxiliary electric underseat heater, Factory tinted glass, Power Steering and the very cool trunk mounted antenna.
Car does not run and condition of engine is unknown, however I have manually turned the engine once by hand.
Great restoration candidate or Hot rod, hood is very solid and strong (no bent corners) all the trim is there (although some of it is off and in the back seat). Comes with extra rim
Known missing parts: Hub caps, air cleaner, ignition/door/trunk keys, battery and the top front fender tips and fin lens are missing. Trunk does not latch (I will tie it down for transport)
Let me know if you have any questions, no reserve, have a good title in my name (you'll have no problem registeringthis car)u. Pick up only, sorry I have no way to transport this vehicle
