Description

1957 Studebaker Silver Hawk with 289ci 2bbl and Auto trans. Approx 108,000 orig miles. New Holley carburetor, new exhaust. Solid floor and trunk pans still coated with original undercoating.Rockers and fender wells areexcellent. Straight solid frame, no hits.Recently repainted in factory colors, though not sure if the car was originally this color scheme. Paint is very good, a few blems here and there but no rust bubbles. Tires near new. Interior has recent new factory seat covers and door panels and carpet. Headliner excellent. All chrome trim is there and in good shape. Some of the car's rubber weatherstripping has been replaced. Passenger door glass cracked in corner (pic) window regulator on that side inop. Idles very smoothly, sounds great and drives pretty well for this vintage, I just drove car 30 miles at highway speeds this week. Brakes are firm but grabby and brake fluid needs flushing. Drips some oil on driveway. Past titles and registration's in hand in my name. Will deliver cheap to you along corridor between Atlanta and Louisville for my expenses during Labor Day since I already have travel plans that way and if you've paid in full. To other locales I will assist you in communicating with your shipper and arrangements. Thanks for looking.
