1923 Studebaker Light Six
Description
For sale is a 1923 Studebaker Light Six EM, 114" wheel base. This is a good candidate for a complete restoration. Currently this car is not running although some work has been done recently. This is the list;
Rebuilt Stromberg OE-1 carburetorCleaned and sealed gas tankNew electric fuel pump installed (vacuum tank bypassed)NOS distributor cap, points, and rotorNew spark plug wiresNew spark plugsNew complete engine gasket set5 new tires, Goodrich Silver Town Cords, 33x4.5 (these look brand new but are several years old)Included but not installed is an NOS timing chain
An attempt was made to start this car but the engine compression is to low (approx. 40 lbs per cylinder), possibly needs a valve job.Overall the body is in very good condition, no rust or visible damage. Fenders are very straight. The interior is in good condition. New floor boards and running boards were made at some point.
This is a list of the parts that I know are missing;
Headlamp trim ringHeadlamp lensCowl light lensTail lightCowl vent lidHood hold downs
There could be more missing parts, but this is all I know of at this time. This should have a complete restoration or with some mechanical work could be used as a driver. There is no top on the car but the top bows are complete and in good condition, just needs a top installed. Car will also need a complete wiring harness.
Included are a re-print shop manual and hand crank.
The original VIN tag and engine tag were missing. It does have a VIN tag issued by the state of Utah with matching title.
If you have any questions please email me. Car is located in Logan, Utah.
