(more photos and videos below) 1957 Studebaker Provincial Station Wagon : You are bidding on a 1957 Studebaker Provincial Station Wagon. · 8 cylinder engine · Automatic Transmission · Power Steering · New dual exhaust · Originally Apache Red and White now has black primer and white. We purchased this car from the third owner in ARIZONA and haven’t had the time to do anything with it. It starts easily, runs nice, but is awaiting the restoration it deserves unless you want a rat rod. The survival rate on old station wagons is low and only 3,995 1957 Provincial Wagons were made, so finding a complete one from Arizona is a great start. If you like Station Wagons and want something unique, this Studebaker will turn heads and be very practical for hauling people, groceries, or a vintage trailer. Details: VIN: 8470008 Body Tag: 57B-P4, 3501 Engine #: None Stamped (probably a replacement block) Model: Provincial Millage: 75,760 Body Color was originally Apache Red and white, but previous owner painted black primer over the red. We bought it from previous owner in Apache Junction Arizona, so it has a solid body, but there lower front valance is bent along with the bumper. There is a dent in right rear quarter. Has cracked windshield, vent, 2 side windows and will need new seals. Most of its chrome and stainless trim is very nice. Brakes The brake pedalis hard and hasolder rubber flex hoses, sobrakesshould be checked and replaced. Transmission Has automatic transmission. Shifts fine, but we haven’t had it insured to on highway. Shift linkage is loose and has to be wiggled to go into reverse. The transmission filter, fluid and pan gasket have been replaced. Tires Decent radial white wall tires. Interior New headliner and visors look nice. New door panels and carpet look good, but non stock. The front seat not stock either. We have the original front seat but will need to be reupholstered. Gauges and radio in unknown condition. Engine Engine starts and runs good, but included are some new spark plug wires and will likely need other things before driving any distance (don’t plan to drive it home). Has non stock air filter, radiator, breather cap and battery. The heat/defroster is disconnected and hood latch should be replaced. Has new dual exhaust and mufflers. New battery cables, starter solenoid and oil change were done for maintenance last year. A nice classic car that will be fun and useful. Go surfing, camping (google search Glamping), or take friends and the whole family for ride.
