Up for sale is a custom built 1922 Studebaker Roadster Pickup. No Studebaker never did build a Roadster Pickup so this is a one off! This little Pickup is cool all the way with it's mostly all hand built body. The builderonly using the original cowl & windshield frame from the 1922 Studebaker touring car and grill from a 1919 Studebaker, the rest of the body is custom built. (very nice) It has suicide doors, 3 paneled hood with air scoop, removable custom top, beautiful sheet medal work inside& out and supper cool smiley face imprint in the tail gate. (nice detail in all the medal work)A build book with many pictures of theconstruction comes with the car. (you can see the detail in the build) The paint is Hot Rod sateen black and looks just right. The interior has custom built seats, nice custom dash with gages, center consul with shifter, and all done in nice sheet medal work. The custom frame uses 1980's Toyota torsion bar front end & steering and Toyota rear suspension with a wheel base of 101".(rides nice) The engine is a good running 4.3 L V-6 and it has the 350 turbo automatic transmission, with headers and side pipes.The Toyota manual steering was used and it haspower brakes. (fun to drive) This little pickup has been on the road for 4 years. Ithas about 2000 miles on the car,but now the owner has a new project and wants to sale.
