Description
1960 Studebaker Lark VI two-door coupe. This is a currently non-running project car. It has the 170 cubic inch six cylinder engine but the previous owner was in the process of converting the flathead to the newer overhead valve head. The engine is mostly all there, but does not turn over and needs a complete rebuild, or turn it into a hot rod and put in a LS or Coyote V8. It's currently missing the carburetor, radiator and some of the external accessories.
It also has the three on the tree 3-speed manual transmission however the shifter is not currently hooked up to the tranny. The rods are included though. The driveshaft is currently out for some reason, but is included in the trunk.
The body is mostly solid with no rust on the wheelwells or body except a few small spots on the fender shown in the pictures. The floorboards and rockers are rusty and do need to be replaced. The frame has surface rust but is very solid throughout, no holes anywhere.
The trim and chrome are in really nice shape overall as well as the glass. It has a great patina look as-is and would be a great restomod, rat rod or fun street car. I've also heard that these are popular for gasser conversions.
I'm selling this car at no reserve, last bid takes it home. Bid to win!
I will help load on to a trailer or assist your shipping company, but shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
On Dec-18-16 at 08:36:56 PST, seller added the following information:Forgot to add the VIN. It's 60S-2I06. I've added a picture of the VIN plate as well as the odometer showing 86,143 miles. I would take this to be actual as the car was last on the road in 1966 as evidenced by the tabs.
