1983 Subaru GL Wagon NO RESERVE

I acquired this clean wagon 3.5 years ago. It had sat unused for 20 years in Western Oklahoma, with just 92k original miles. After a few years of gentle revival it was ready for a good road trip. In the last year I’ve driven this Subaru over 9,000 miles on a great cross-country journey. Whether touring the rolling hills of southern Ohio, climbing 10,000 foot passes in Colorado, cruising the coast of California, or exploring the depths of Big Bend National Park, this Subaru has handled all with style and ease.
Within the past 10,000 miles this GL wagon has received new CV axles, tires, brakes, carburetor, and miscellaneous small parts, as needed.
Due to where it was parked for 20 years, the hood and right front fender have more sun fading than the rest of the car. There are a few rust holes in the rockers--mostly on the driver's side--as shown in the pictures. The crack in the windshield hasn’t gotten any worse since I’ve owned it. The wideband O2 sensor is not included.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere but it's being sold with the usual AS-IS, WHERE-IS. I’d be happy to pick up the buyer at our local airport if you want to drive it home.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction close, with the remainder being due within 7 days or cash upon pickup, whichever is first. It can stay here a reasonable time before pickup as long as cleared funds have been received within the 7 days.
This car is being sold with NO RESERVE. The high bidder at the end will be the new owner.
