Up for auction is a very unique Samurai offered by SamuraiSalvage in Marshalltown, IA. This Samurai is themed after our 2012 Transformer edition Camaro. This Samurai has never been wrecked and has a clean and clear Iowa title. This 1986 Samurai was built by Suzuki Conversions in Tampa, FL in 1994 as paperwork in photos show. The previous owner provided the Samurai and the conversion cost the owner $14,524. My shop, SamuraiSalvage, did a total restoration when I purchased it. The restoration includes: removing the tired (yawn) 350 V8 and replaced it with a completely rebuilt 450 horse (est.) 406 small block Chevy for power never before seen in a Samurai!! 10:1 compression pistons. Crane thumper cam (sounds wicked!). New 2 1/4 inch dual exhaust with bullet glass packs, both exiting in front of the rear tires. We also rebuilt the turbo 200 R4 overdrive transmission and rebuilt the front axle, and installed a locker in the rear axle. 3.73 rear axle ratio. New sun visors. New ABS textured 5-piece panel kit, including doors, quarters and tailgate. Dash is in new condition with new radio console & glove box lid. Awesome premium two-tone leather seats in new condition. New deluxe black carpet kit. New Rampage top with removable limo-tint windows (sides and rear remove to make it a safari top). Rear tires are new Goodyear slicks with new 10 inch black powder coated wheels with black anodized nuts and caps. New front tires with black powder coated 8 inch wheels & anodized nuts and caps. New paint in 2012 Camaro Rally yellow. New bumpers & end caps. New lights. New door openers/trims. New window cranks. This Samurai has air conditioning installed, but I've never charged it. Since restoration this Samurai has seen only a few miles going to car shows/parades. This Samurai has never sat outside since the build--it stays inside our warehouse with a cover on it. This was a very expensive build for the previous owner and again for us, but I'm moving on to other projects and selling this for a fraction of the build price, making this a super bargain for the new owner.
