4x4 off road buggy convertible
Description
1987 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 convertible.
The good.... everything works like it should. It runs & drives the way you would expect a Samurai to do. The 4x4, both high & low function as expected. The front seats are in great condition. The tires are about 85%. It really needs nothing as far as mechanical condition goes & the body is mostly rust free & solid w/ just a little bit of rust through just behind the rear wheel. You can play all summer, use it for hunting in the fall and then take it down over the winter and tend to some of the cosmetic issues.
The Bad ... The rag top is not so good. It could use a new one, they're only 250 bucks. The clutch needs adjusting. It seems to release at the top of the peddle movement, instead of the bottom. The clutch itself is in good shape, I think it just needs adjusting in the cable.
The Ugly...The paint job was done w/ a rattle can. There's no carpet on the floor & the interior panels are well worn or missing. A new 5 pc kit is only 200 bucks.
My summary.... this Samurai is a good price for one that's road worthy right now. I've seen them sell as basket case projects or w/ blown motors for more than what I'm asking.
I am a small time car dealer. I picked this up at an auction intent on giving it a cosmetic make over, but I've been to busy to work on it, so until I make room in my garage for another project, this one is up for grabs. I don't have much in it. That's why I can sell so cheap.NC buyers will need to pay for tax, title & tags... all other out of state buyers will getnecessarypaperwork to take to your DMV and pay your tax title & tags there. I don't charge a processing fee.
