Description

Up for auction is a fully functional "barn find survivor" 1987 Suzuki Samurai Tin Top model. This vehicle was found near the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in the state of Maryland and was surprisingly found to
be in very good condition. Though it had no engine, in no way was this a vehicle to part-out. Frame was in super condition, interior wheel wells were fine, straight body, virtually dent/ding free, decent original
paint. Mechanically this vehicle has been gone over front to back, system to system - a low mileage (56k) engine was installed (compression checks in at 188 across, new engine spec is 190), had a leak at oil dip
stick - new o-ring installed and now seems fine, fuel system flushed, new fuel filter, fresh coolant, electrical ok/cluster replaced, brakes checked, cleaned & adjusted, fresh fluids, tuned-up, new oil & filter, newer
wheels & tires installed and road tested. Custom interior panels were installed, carpet was cleaned and interior and exterior was detailed. This vehicle is now turn-key. More pics available if requested. Any
substantial rust (which was confined to the left rear floor (behind the wheel well) & the typical rocker rust has been properly repaired. There is right rear under flare rust beginning and needs attention in the very
near future, though looks to be presently confined to the exterior. The drivers door was slightly damaged (see pics), probably by someone in the past trying to break in the vehicle. I have a matching red door shell
(different graphics) available to the buyer if wanted. Door operates fine as is.
