1986 Suzuki Samurai Tin Top Restoration
Description
I have for sale my 1986 Suzuki Tin Top Samurai that has been restored and used for spring drives, summer cruises and even a couple of parades. It was originally a nice silver all original Samurai that was rust and practically dent free. It was a greatcandidate foralittle customization and restoration. So it disassembledand painted inside and out a matte Olive Drab, We kept the engine bay the original silver because it gave the engine bay a nice look (see pictures) the floors and interior were Rhino lined. The original 50k mile interior remains and it is in excellent shape. We wanted a really nice and reliable driver, the engine and transmission were rebuilt to factory specs buy SuzukiLightningConversions in Tampa Florida (We have the invoices). It has been a great project and we get alot of attention everywhere we drive in the Chattanooga TN area. Good fuel mileage and it has great road manners even on the interstate. It has never been offroad since the restoration, it hasnt even seen rain. It is Garage kept and we have logged 5,000 miles within the last two years we have owned it. It has a nice stereo system, a spring oversuspensionlift with new 30x9.5 offroad tires. Tasteful mods that does not effect the road manners. Be sure to watch the youtube video link of it being taken for a spin. I would drive it anywhere, because frankly we drive it all the time.
We hope to find someone who wants a nice mostly original Tin Top, Its becoming hard to find them that are not damaged from offroad modification and joyrides. I would hate that someone wants to make this one an offroad buggy and go roll it down a hill. However! If you buy it then its yours! We are moving on to a classic car restoration and are ready to find someone who will take care of it like my wife and I did.
