Up for auction is my 1976 FJ40. I hate to let it go but I have too many projects. This truck is in very good mechaincal condition as it was mechanic owned. However the last owner was not the smartest and painted it FJ blue with latex house paint. The paint job is very good considering, however it is still a novice homeowner type job. There are some rust spots that he patched and painted; I have tried to capture these in the photos. The rust on this truck is very minimal and will not need and panel replacement, it looks as though it was garaged most of its life.

Other then the poor paint job this truck is in amazing condition. All the oils have been changed. The transfer case leaksa little and may be coming from the drain plug. The front and rear ends are tight with NO leaks. Even the birchfields are sealed! Engine is original and runs great, no leaks. All wheel bearings are tight. Has cool selectro hubs that are smooth and tight. The dash is in almost new condtion all, guages and lights work. Tires are 1/2 tread. Truck has stupid cold air intake with stupid foam filter. Heater and climate control even works!

I could go on and on about how nice this unit is and how great it could be with a little money and work; however its easier to talk about it in person or on the phone.
