1989 Toyota Supercharged MR2 ***NO RESERVE***
Description
I regretfully have to sell my beloved 1989 Toyota Supercharged MR2 in order to facilitate a move across the country. I originally purchased this MR2 for $3000 in late 2013 in mostly stock condition. The previous owner claims the engine was replaced with a low mileage JDM 4AGZE engine, though I there is no proof of this. The chassis itself has 168,xxx miles on the clock and runs like a champ. I have title in hand and it is clean. I have done a good amount of work on this car as itemized below:Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks - $750Toyota TRD Springs - $150Street Technique Sway Bars (Front and Rear) - $150Quaife 15:1 Quick Ratio Rack - $300Poly-Urethane Bushings - $100Camber Bolts - $30Aftermarket Rear Tie-Rods - $100Front Frame Tie/Tow Bar - $80Slotted Rotors w/ceramic pads - $100Rota Grid V 15x9 +0 offset - $900245/40-15 Maxxis VR-1 tires (about 80% tread) - $600Fender Flares - $700Crank Pulley (more boost) - $350Grunt Box - $200K&N Filter - $30Fuel System (rebuilt injectors, new fuel pump, new fuel filter) - $200New Air Flow Meter- $150New Starter - $80New Heavier Duty ACT Clutch - $300Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel - $200C50 Transmission (to replace the heavy E51) - $200Shifter Bushings & Short Throw Plate - $50Aluminum Pedals w/Heel-Toe Shift Pad- $100Intercooler Fan - $80Lightweight Race Battery with Mount - $350Custom Exhaust w/High-Flow Cat and Magnaflow Muffler - $350Along with the cost of the car this all totals to $9600.The car does has some negatives being a nearly 30 year old car. The t-tops do leak a little, but it is not really meant to be driven in weather. The A/C has been eliminated since the lines were bent up and the compressor did not work (that's what the -tops are for!). The cruise control was removed since it did not work either. The front driver side wheel bearing needs to be replaced but I have the bearing and am willing to do the work for the right deal. The exhaust is loud but it was the trade off for a lightweight system. That said, the car tips the scales right around 2450; nearly 200lbs lighter than stock. The batteries are located in the frunk for better weight distribution. I say batteries because there are two ran in series to maintain startability for daily driving and parking without a trickle charger. The large battery is easily removable for race days. This is a ridiculously fun car to drive around and is amazing on an autocross course.

The photos are not doctored at all and show the true perspective when you take a step back. Up close the dents become more apparent.
