Description
Up for auction is a cherry of a truck! 1991 Toyota pickup dlx 22re 4x4. Hard to find trucks like these in this condition with low miles. Know what you’re bidding on: it’s a 1991, not a 2015 so expect there to always be maintenance and upkeep in order to keep it as good as it is now. And please be aware - no Airconditioning installed on this model. You can install A/C, the kit is $1200 to door from Arizona AC, but it was an option in 91 and this truck did not receive that option.I’ve replaced:-the clutch, flywheel with a heavy flywheel from LCE performance.-New rear main seal.-Water pump and timing chain and guides replaced.-New plug leads and spark plugs are 2 years old.-New shocks, fairly new tires. See photos.-Replaced catalytic converter and muffler assy.-Replaced input bearing on transmission (w56-c).-All 4 wheel bearings replaced.-New front calipers and pads-New rear shoes-Nice system installed, see photos: also tweeters in place of the original 4” front speakers. (Original radio with purchase)-new fluids all around (redline in trans and transfer. All left over fluids included)- replaced all magnetic plugs and servicing plugs-new speedometer cable-likely more that I am forgetting. All parts I have that I haven’t gotten to changing yet or are extra are going to stay with the truck. Also comes with original Owners manuals. And any other books i have for the truck will be included
The original owner installed different switches for who knows what, and a power outlet in the bed of the truck. All the wiring for the Switches have been removed. So they aren’t functioning in any way, but wire something to them. I assume a switch, or two, once controlled the flog lights (which are an aftermarket add) but the lamps are no longer wired so are inoperative.I installed a Apple car play radio, and a flush USB plug - see photos. The system itself is LOUD and great bass.
Ask any questions you may have.
I’d be willing to I drive it to an airport within 200 miles from Charlotte NC. Otherwise local pickup or pay for a transport.
Also there was one insurance claim I made. Someone backed into the truck in a parking lot while I was at work and drove away. I had it fixed. Paint was matched perfectly and you wouldn’t ever know there was a dent.
On Jan-06-18 at 18:48:25 PST, seller added the following information:Forgot to mention: there is a small oil leak from the oil pan. It’s not much, and I never had to add any oil in between oil changes. Normal leaks for trucks that age. You can reseal the oil pan. I have LACO tabs to send with the truck you can just roll up like a tootsie roll and put around it. I would have done it; but i want the buyer to see and not think there is anything to hide.
