Description

Up for sale is my Florida based 1990 Toyota 4X4 SR5 V6 5-speed manual pick up. I am the original owner of this vehicle. It is/was my daily driver. The only reason I am selling it is I want something new/different. At the end of each day this truck has been in an air conditioned garaged and has NEVER let me down or failed to start. There is currently under 210,000 miles on the clock and the motor runs like the day I purchased it (actually better). The reason for the better running is the change out of the exhaust system back in the late 90's. The only really stupid thing Toyota did was to use a “crossover pipe” from the passenger side exhaust bank to the driver side bank. This caused excessive heat in said pipe causing premature failures of them. This was a know issue and I didn't want to have the same issue down the road, so I pulled the whole exhaust system off the truck. I replaced it with a set of chrome long tube headers into a free flow catalytic converter into stainless steel Borla exhaust system (the sound is extremely nice) and passed emission inspections when FL required them. Along with this I pulled the air-box and replaced that with a K&N free-flow filter setup. This allows the motor to breath much better then the factory design and as such has great throttle response.

I recently replaced the alternator as I could hear the bearings making noise so before it died I replaced it. The Air conditioner works fine. The radiator was replaced 3 years ago and filled with EVANS water-less antifreeze. The front rotors are slotted, power slot rotors. I needed new rotors along the way and put these on for better heat dissipation. I also had a brake line that started to leak so I replaced them with stainless steel lines so as to never have that problem again. The oil has been changed between 3k and 4K since the day I owned this truck. The timing belt was replaced 5K miles ago.

I had the truck repainted in 2006 because of typical Florida sun fade. I have a company vehicle and the truck has been a garage queen for the last 10 years. There's NO rust on any of the body rockers or frame and there never was (I can provide more pictures if needed). The only thing you will see on the bottom under carriage is grease from me greasing fittings on the drive train and it flinging about when driving. The bed has a mat on it but the inside is scratched up and has some dings in it as this is a truck. The factory shocks gave up so they were replaced with Rancho RS5000 shocks. The factory stereo died and was replaced. I put Polk Audio speakers in the front factory location and a small kicker 75Watt amp to power those. The is also two 6” subs in the rear cargo hole and another amp that powers them. The sound is perfect for the size of the vehicle and real clean. I have the factory covers for those areas and they can be put back into service if so desired, restoring to factory original look. I have always been on top of maintenance it is a 28 year old vehicle but whomever buys this vehicle will benefit from my efforts. I have the Toyota original factory service manuals which will be provided to the buyer.

The buyer will be responsible for for vehicle pickup, however I will assist if possible.

I also reserve the right to cancel auction due to local sale.
