1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 FJ80
Description
This is a 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has a fiberglass replacement tub, hood and front fenders (which are removable). It is the most comfortable FJ40 you will every ride in. The rear half of the frame (suspension and axle) is from a 1995 FJ80. It is the standard five link with the factory electric locker and OME 2.5" lift coil springs. The front axle is an FJ62 axle with an FJ80 rear 9" electric locker. The front axle also had 1.25 DOM steel tie rods, six bolt knuckles with rock ram Hydraulic assist for the Saginaw steering. The front suspension are RaceRunner air shocks. They are adjustable and work great with the truck.
Now to the engine and drive train. The engine is a Chevy 350 with a quadrajet carb. It is fed to a SM465 standard transmission (which was recently rebuilt. Also had the third gear update kit installed at time of rebuild). It has dual transfer cases. The first being an NP203 GRB to a 1979 FJ40 case with three speed FJ40 gears (2.31 reduction). It has a double cardan rear driveshaft (with spare).
It has an a full roll cage with harnesses. It has a 35 gallon fuel tank. It has a full York onboard air setup. Has four gallon air tank set up at 175psi cutout.
