1972 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with hardtop
Description
1972 FJ40. OEM engine replaced with GM V8 small block. I believe it to be a 327/350. Includes the GM power steering.Car was rewired to accommodate engine. Original transmission, however the brand new CenterForce brand flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc all have less than 50 miles on them. Vehicle odometer does not work. Doors and top are on it. Headliner on top has fallen down but I am reattaching it today. Heater and emergency brake does not appear to work. New Parts for e-brake included. There are NO rear jump seats in vehicle. Interior floor has been rhino lined. Back glass lift window handle has broken off. Basically new complete Old Man Emu leafs and suspension parts.
Clean title in hand state of Kansas. Car previously spent most it's life in Arizona I've been told. Undercarriage is really quite amazingly clean with only surface rust. Rear quarters that curve seem to have some bondo. I'm not sure if anywhere else. I don't see any significant rust areas. Surface rust around doors etc. . Car originally the dark blue color.
Mechanic check out confirmed everything was great on car: transmission, brakes, coolant flush, oil flush, tran flush. All flushed and checked. Oil pan just replaced as well due to previous one having a minor dent. Windows have been tinted on doors and top. Mechanics invoices and receipts should be on file if you want to see (I'll make sure still there).
Includes bikini cover new in box. car cover. bag of various mirrors and parts that are extra. Top hard and bikini, doors hard and soft half doors..
I prefer to speak to bidders and use a FaceTime app to walk bidders through car and answer questions to properly show it as advertised. Please ask and just don't bid. I have just over $20K into the vehicle, have owned for one year and have maybe put 100-200 miles on it around town. Runs drives great but hold on due to big tires and suspension! Tons of fun. Low low reserve.
