Hello and thank you for your interest,
You are bidding on what I consider to be one of the toughest trucks ever built. This truckat the time I took ownership(155,000 miles)was prepared to be a trouble free daily driver/ workhorse as I planned to keep it as my main vehicle for what I thought would be the next 10 yrs and maybe more.
At this time The following work was performed:
Timing belt, Tensioner, and idler pulleys
Water pump
New clutch/ pressure plate
Flywheel resurfaced
New thermostat
Exhaust manifoldgaskets
Valve cover gaskets
Front & rear main seals
Cam seals
Oil pan gasket
Valve shims all brought within spec
After these maintenance items were performed this truck was exactly what I had intended it to be. Since then which was about 2 years ago all that has been needed is routine oil changes and new front brakes in February 2016.
Tires were replaced in December 2015 with brand new cooper discovery A/T 3 31.10.5. 15 and still look like new with only about 5k on them.
Now onto the body as you can see by the pics it has picked up a little hail over its lifespan. It also has some scratches and dents associated with a 21 year old vehicle However ven still it gets looks and compliments for being a rust free and very clean looking truck wherever it goes. There are only 2 spots on the truck that you may consider to be rust which I don't since they are only surface rust and not a cancerous type which starts from the inside and by the time you see it the panel is destroyed. Those 2 spots are on the middle of the tailgate and the right front fender. Both of these are just exposed metal spots that have flash rusted. I will try to capture the essence of the body condition as good as possible in the pictures provided. If there is a specific question you have please ask and I will do my best to promptly answer.
And to the interior: Overall the interior is very presentable with only minor imperfections. The dash bezel has a crack in it. Note this is not the actual dash but just the outer bezel which is easily replaced and inexpensive if so desired. The seats do have covers on them due to the driver seat having worn through the material. Passenger seat is still intact and in good shape. All lights, gauges, sensors, window cranks, and locks work as they should
Finally the reason I have decided to sell is we have a baby boy due in November and have purchased an suv to accommodate a growing family. I also have another truck which is a family heirloom that I cannot bring myself to ever sell. Therefore with the dilemma of 1 too many vehicles unfortunately this truck has to go. I am however confident that it will make someone an excellent vehicle for a very long time to come and I look foreward to meeting its new owner...
