Description

Selling my 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ61V turbo diesel 4x4 that I imported from Japan in 2015. I put a total of about 3,000 miles on it since I've owned it. I have taken it across some serious terrain when I lived out in Washington State. It is functional. This truck is equipped with an OEM cable locker system along with a 4x4 push button and manual locking hubs. The truck is on 38"tires and 15" wheels. The tires are in good shape with a lot of life on them. The 12HT engine that this is equipped with is an absolute amazing engine. As far as how it runs, no problems whatsoever there. It will start up in a half a turn. The 4x4 system works fine but as of now the cable lockers need some adjusting in order to work. The interior is in great condition for the year and there are no rips in the seats or stains in the fabric. There are some small cosmetic flaws I can send you through a message or via email. I have several more photos, eBay only let me put 12 in my ad.
I parked this truck in 2017 and haven't really touched it since I recently moved it to my storage. Since its been sitting, it created some flat spots on the tires and rides very rough right now. I also think the bushings in the shackles could be worn and old as well as the body lift bushings. Right now it rides very rough, but it drove excellent when I was actively driving it. During the run time of this ad, I am going to have a technician go through it to see if anything can be adjusted or replaced before I sell it, if it is something I do not want to fix or change, I will be up front with you and we can work something out. But as of now, without having a professional look it over, you will need to trailer it home, only because it is so rough driving from the flat spots in the tires that it is nearly impossible to drive right now.
I would like to sell it outright, I am not interested in any trades. I have a clean and clear title in hand. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to message me.
*Please see photo of the Japanese VIN plate. It is not a U.S 17 digit. Vehicles imported from Japan are short digit VIN numbers.
