Description

1986 Toyota SR5 4x4 Hilux Pickup, new motor, everything works great.

One of a kind custom Toyota, original military OD green professional paint (not rattle can). Many years of time, and dollars have been invested into this unique reliable pickup. Ready for over-landing, commuting, grocery getting, taking the kids to school, taking the wife/girlfriend out with style, and anything else you can think of. Everything, starts, works, clicks, runs, turns, etc just as it should.

I have receipts for all listed mods and new parts:

  • Brand new fully rebuilt long block 22RE motor with less than 5,000 miles (Oregon Engine Builders)
  • 2" Lift with 33" Mud terrains with 75% tread
  • Bilstein 5100 series shocks all around (buttery smooth ride on and off road)
  • LC Engineering header (included, not installed)
  • Trail gear (CA legal) cold air intake
  • California Smog with flying colors
  • Undercarriage freshly painted black
  • Lifetime California car, Zero rust, straight body
  • Custom WWII OD green enamel from Gillespie (34087), original WWII dusty olive. Very durable flat finish.

  • All fluids replaced - oil, transmission, differentials, T-case, brakes, clutch, power steering, coolant, etc.
  • Too much to list...

Heater blasts hot, A/C blasts cold even on the hottest days. Cruise control works intermittently. A couple small dents on the exterior, but overall very straight body lines, 2 clean cracks on dash, one tear in passenger seat, interior better than average, overall it has been mostly restored and is in very good condition for its age.

This is a true gem that has been well cared for and restored by a mature adult and professionals, no cutting corners. It leaks absolutely ZERO fluids, motor starts every time without hesitation and purrs like a kitten. I would start it up and drive across the country and back without hesitation and cruising at 80MPH.

Was my daily driver for years and sad to see it go, but it will be a reliable companion to any Toyota p/u fan for many years and many miles to come.
