Description

I got this FJ40 (her name is Myrtle) 7 years ago and had her fully restored (frame-off) by Scott Gesik at Restored FJ40 in Lincoln City, OR. I have driven her for the last 6 years and had some work done by Marshall at Trollhole Cruisers in Greenville 2 years ago to make her more drivable. I put in a 4 speed transmission, redid the brakes, added a new headliner, tow hitch and removed some rusty spots. This past year I had some remaining rust spots fixed and refinished the underbody and applied a protective coating at a local body shop. She’s in great shape, has never had any mechanical issues and turns heads wherever we go. She had been my daily driver in Asheville, NC but is now in dry storage after her last touch up in anticipation of this sale. She seats four with seatbelts, has a tow hitch, and other than the 4 speed conversion and wheels is all original. The tires and brakes are in great shape.
