Up for sale is a 1983 Toyota Celica GT
22REC Fuel Injected 2.4 Liter Inline 4 Cylinder SOHC Chain Driven Engine.
5 Speed W58 Trans (Same as MK3 NA Supra) Shifts smoothly through all the gears, reverse works as well.
Great chassis for a crazy engine swap or continue to restore her to original. Engine runs and trans shifts smoothly. Engine was rebuilt around 3k miles ago and has had a knocking noise present since, machinist believes a piston skirt is broken. The noise is present when engine warms up, oil pressure gauge on dash shows low oil pressure. Mechanical gauge was installed and engine makes 70 psi when revved up warm. The body is overall very straight with a few dings and the paint is definitely not great, peeling of the rear spoiler. Power steering system has a leak and periodically needs added to.
Engine was rebuilt with an EngineTech rebuild kit. Engine has been bored atleast 0.020" im not sure the overall amount the engine was bored as my machinist said it had been bored previously before he bored it another 0.020" New cam and all followers were installed, new timing chain and tensioner with cogs. New oil pump, pistons, bearings, rings, all seals, new water pump. All engine parts were cleaned and painted.
Car has new fuel pump, and a new clutch master cylinder.
Interior isn't great some vinyl is tearing off See PICs. No radio present. Car has buttons for A/C pump but the car never had A/C from the factory.
Great fixer upper for a mechanic or great car for a crazy engine swap.
I have too many projects and as a result have no time to continue working on her.
The car battery is not included. Buyer will need to furnish their own battery.

If you are gonna need the car shipped by a car hauling service that will be up to the buyer to arrange and setup the pick-up and delivery service. I will make sure the car is available and ready to be picked up with 1 days notice. Other wise I will keep the car locked up and the key in my possession until shipping or pickup arrangements have been made.
Car will need to be picked up within 30 days of auction close otherwise storage fees will apply at 25$/Day
