1972 Toyota Corona Mark II 2.3L

Up for auction, today is a beautifully kept 1972 Toyota Corona Mark II. This car was part of a small private collection, I am trying to downsize due to loss of storage space. To my understanding of these cars, this car has the"rare" taillights that are not found on all Corona's. The car has been well kept inside and out. All brand new parts were used duringthe upkeep and regular maintenance of this car- where necessary. All gauges and indicator lights including the clock are in working condition. The interior, seats, gauges, dashboard and carpets are all in mint condition. The engine has also been looked over and serviced. The water pump and timing belt also have been changed in 2011. The car also has new Hankook tires that were installed last year. The head has also been gone through and machined with new valves. The car carries its original engine and its original 4-speed manual transmission. Lots of power for a six cylinder car, I can cruise comfortably at 70-80mph
To be quite honest, this was my little "Japanese Muscle" car (which it was referred to at local shows and car meets). It was my intention to keep it for as long as I could. It is very unfortunate that I have to part away with this because there aren't many of them out there. As unique and as bold as this one.
The carburetor and points have recently been cleaned and adjusted. The brakes have also all been adjusted a week ago.Radiator cleaned, repaired and pressure tested. Front and rear suspension are in excellent condition. The car has been rust proofed. The car comes with manuals, parts bookand a handfulof parts.The body of the car is very straight with no Bondo or dents whatsoever. The car has been professionally repainted in 2008. The body has very minor-(1cm) very fine scratches from shows and Canada parades. All the chrome throughout the car is in very good condition as shown in the pictures. The car comes with a modern sound system- JVC CD Player with Bluetooth/USB, MTX front, and Sony rear speakers.
From the date of the appraisal (September 2009)- there has been approximately 15 000 miles put on the car, it currently stands at 77,XXX original miles.
Please note that the car is also up for sale privately and the owner reserves to cancel the EBAY transaction at any point to facilitate a local sale.
The car has been in many commercials as well as Canada day parades.

The car was appraised by a Licensed appraiser in Ontario in 2009 for $18,500.00 Canadian.
Alsoplease note that if you need to ask your wife, sister, daughter or neighbor, please do so before bidding. Lastly, do not give your newborn, neighbor your EBAY credentials to bid by mistake. The car is ready to be sold, not many Toyota Corona Mark II's are around in this condition.

I just want to give some background to this car. I bought this car in 2007-2008 from Canada's Mercedes Benz Technical Manager. He had it sitting in his barn for about 12 years or so. I have the original rims for the car as well, if the winning bidder wants them. Note that the Odometer at the moment reads 73XXX not 77XXX as listed above. Sorry for the confusion.
