This 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser was properly imported by a U.S. resident with dual citizenship in September of 2019. It currently has a Florida title that is clear and transferable anywhere in the world, and is registered in Florida as well. When it arrived in Florida, it was sent to a performance automotive center for a complete service, safety check, and the addition of Air Conditioning to make it usable in the Florida heat and humidity. Maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and additions included: A.REMOVE FRONT AND REAR BRAKE ASSEMBLIES – CLEAN AND ADJUST B.INSTALL NEW DUAL DIAPHRAGM BRAKE BOOSTER C.DEGLAZE BRAKE SHOES D.INSTALL 4 NEW WHEEL CYLINDERS E.FLUSH AND BLEED FULL BRAKE SYSTEM F.REPLACE RUBBER EXHAUST HANGARS G.REPAIR SMALL CRACK IN BUMPER H.REPLACE DRIVESHAFT BOLTS I.FABRICATE ALTERNATOR AND COMPRESSOR BRACKETS TO INSTALL A/C J.INSTALL NEW RADIATOR WITH BRACKET AND SUPPORT FOR CONDENSER K.INSTALL BATTERY CUT-OFF L.INSTALL UNDER DASH WIRING HARNESS M.INSTALL NEW POWER STEERING HOSES AND BELTS N.INSTALL NEW BATTERY O.FLUSH AND FILL RADIATOR P.REMOVE AND REPALCE REAR FUEL LINES, INSTALL NEW TANK. I have put about 150 miles on it locally going to shows and just driving it home, and it is a blast to drive, and gets so much attention no matter where you take it! It is NOT a freeway flying sports car, so don’t expect to commute on the interstate at 75 mph in it! It is happiest running around town at 50 mph and cruising along the back roads. Power steering and power brakes make it so easy to drive that the whole family can enjoy it, and the addition of the air conditioning makes it a joy to drive all year long, even in the 100 degree Florida summer. Paint is very nice, and shows just as good in person as in the 150 photos below, but PLEASE don’t expect ICON-level perfection, or you will be disappointed. It shows a handful of little marks like stone chips and small scuffs, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. Roof is solid and clean as well, and I have not removed it to see how it looks without it. Glass is all good, and shows only light signs of use, with no cracks, chips, or laminate issues. All of the rubber and seals are soft, clean, and pliable. Painted bumpers and bumperettes are clean and serviceable. Rear spare swing-away mount works as it should, and carries a matching like-new tire and wagon spoke painted wheel. All tires are in very good condition, and show no damage or premature wear. Wheels are painted and clean, but do show marks and things from normal use. Badging and emblems look good and are properly affixed. Door handles and pulls all work like they should. Windshield hood mounts are clean and nice, as are the hinges. Most of the hardware used to mount items is new or recent as shown in the photos. License plate light works, brake and parking lamps work, high and low beams work, and signals work. Mirrors are clean, have no cracks or chips, and work as they should. Engine bay is incredibly clean and presents wonderfully, as shown in the photos. The lid on the overflow jar is cracked, and we have tape on it to hold it down until we source a replacement. Chassis is clean and neat, but does show marks and debris and grime from being driven and used. Frame appears solid and tough, and there is no sign of any rot or rust through on it. Inside, the FJ continues being clean, neat, and nice. Fully finished door panels with newer roller and door pulls all look great. Carpet/matting is all in great condition and banded and cut to fit, including the mats and rear cargo mat. Seats are in fantastic condition, and quite comfortable, with no rips, tears, or seam pulls – even on the two rear jump seats. Transmission and differential gear selectors are nice and clean, as is the functional E-brake lever. Steering wheel is clean and nice, and has functional signal arms. Upper dash pad is clean and nice, as is the painted to match dash itself. All switchgear controls for lights, functional choke, wipers, etc. look great, and work as they should. The gauge cluster is very nice, and gauges appear to be functional with the exception of the temp gauge. Ashtray works, and the glove box is clean has storage inside as well. Rear jump seats flip-down as they should, and the snaps to hold them up are intact and functional. Floor is clean and solid under the matting. Pedals are clean and nice, and the A/C system was professionally installed and shows and works great. It’s very fun to drive, gets a lot of attention, and has proven to be reliable and proficient at semi-daily use since completed in October of 2018. It comes to you with ignition key, door key, receipts and paperwork for work done, and a free and clear Florida title ready for a new owner. That’s about all I can tell you, but I encourage questions and addition photo requests if it helps you make a decision.

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET - NO DISAPPOINTMENTS. I took photos of it from every angle I could, and I encourage you to ask questions, come see it, or arrange for an inspection PRIOR TO BUYING IT. I don't have anything to hide, and have tried to cover every part of the vehicle as best I could. It has a clean and clear title, and is ready for a new owner. The vehicle is located in our Fort Myers, FL warehouse, and is just 15 minutes away from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) if you want to fly in and see it.
