This is an original 1982 FJ40. US spec. Original paint, no body work and is one of the very few "survivors". I am the third owner. This FJ spent nearly all of its life in the dry areas of AZ and TX, thus the lack of rust. Originally sold by a Toyota dealer in Mesa AZ. There are small amounts of some surface rust as can be seen in the photos. This cruiser is in good mechanical condtion and is driven somewhat regularly. Engine, drivetrain, brakes and electrical all working great. The only items that are non-original are radio (replaced with retro sound unit), catalytic converter (I still have it and it can easily be re-installed - bolts in), and wheels are from an earlier 78 model. The white spoke originals are still out there if you are inclined to go that direction. I have the orginal owners manual and owners guides that came with the FJ when new. Some of the tools in the tool kit are missing, although I not sure which ones. I plan to keep the winch, so it is not included in the final selling price. No other FJ40s on the market like this, it is truly one of a kind --- no off the frame restoration, no sand blasting, no all new components, etc... this is as close as you will possibly get to an original un-restored FJ40 in fine condition.
This FJ40 is as an excellent original example of a late model Landcruiser. Serious inquiries welcome via Ebay messenger, will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
