Description

For sale is a 1990 FJ62, ready to be driven or sit in a garage as one of the top unrestored 62s. I'll start off by saying the decals are just that, and can be removed at any time, they are not permanent, and I know they're not for everyone.
This truck has had one owner since new, and was garaged since day one here in Bellingham, as is evidenced by the impeccable original paint. There are $25k worth of maintenance receipts that go with the truck, which I will send in an attachment upon request. Receipts begin at the local dealership where it was purchased with an oil change on 3/23/1990 for $11.79 and continue religiously to present. Everything is still an original Toyota part on this truck with the exception of the radio and currently the shocks. Everything functions perfectly on the truck including the A/C and the power antenna (the antenna is a Toyota OEM unit, for you purists). I would not hesitate to drive the truck across the country tomorrow with the A/C on full the whole way. Everything is tight on this truck and it handles great as the 62 model received a rear sway bar, unlike those that came before it, and having EFI combined with the classic lines makes the truck a ton of fun and very nice to drive. The stock transmission allows it to cruise at 70mph @2100 RPM- it is awesome.
The Interior is unbelievable for an unrestored truck of this age and mileage. It has had seat covers and floor mats (original Toyota mats included) since day one (seat covers are also included). The original jack and hardware are unused and appear brand new, and owner's manual is the same. There is not a single rip or tare in the upholstery. The rear wheel hump vinyl shows some wear, but not too bad, and they are replaceable/available. Headliner is perfect. The truck still has the original speakers, in perfect condition.
They exterior/paint is also incredible for an unrestored truck of this age/mileage. It has been professionally detailed by a restoration specialist locally, and looks amazing for original paint. A few small chips and scratches were touched up during that process. There is no sun damage, this truck has never seen a salted road in its life (let alone a dirt one), and there has never been even a fraction of rust present anywhere on the truck. The paint is not perfect, but it is near perfect and there are very few who would be able to reproduce a paint job as good as this one still is from the factory. This is a completely rust free truck. All glass is perfect, no chips or water marks. All window rubber and exterior plastics are excellent. Underneath, the truck is also incredibly clean, without a scintilla of rust.
The engine bay is also very impressive. It has also not been cleaned, so you're seeing how this truck has really always looked under the hood. All of the TEQ labeling is intact and still has great color. It is also obvious the maintenance regimen this truck was provided has kept the engine bay very clean.
I have a clean title, in my name, in hand. The truck is located in Bellingham, WA. I am happy to coordinate with your shipper.
