1986 Toyota Landcruiser Runs and Drives No Reserve Land Cruiser FJ60
Description
1986 Toyota Land Cruiser. This truck is a little banged up and rusty but still runs well. It was running and driving until it blew the brake lines when my friend was driving it, and he rear ended my trailer. The hood received most of the damage and I had a spare one I threw on it. The core support will need a little pulling as will the driver fender.
If you are looking at this you know what the Landcruisers are. The FJ60 was the beefiest and most heavy duty version offered in the US. This one is bone stock with a four speed.
This truck may be best for parts but could also be restored. It is missing the original transfer case shifter linkage, as I needed it for another project. I am throwing in the linkage from a 62 series, which can be modified to work.
The October 84-87 FJ60's are the most desireable, as they had several minor upgrades. If you are doing an H55f swap into your rig, the driveshafts from this one will work.
The truck does not come with a battery, and needs to be trailered due to no brakes. It has rusted out areas but the floors are solid, and this truck is actually better than many Michigan rigs. There is still lots of life left in her.
The tires are almost like new with only some small weather cracking. The 2F engine is great and the power steering works well. However there is some damage to the oil pan where someone hit something offroad. The oil will leak out over time.
