1969 Toyota FJ 40 Land Crusier - Rare Survivor
Description
1969 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, All Factory Original
One of a kind FJ, one owner from day one, spent it's whole live on the Hamilton Ranch in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This FJ was used mostly for hunting and fishing, always kept at a high altitude, garaged, and it shows in its condition, thus NO RUST.
Bought new at a Toyota Dealer (Mr Go Motors) in Colorado Springs, with original manuals, jack, and dealer sales items. This FJ has ORGINAL PAINT in Olympus White and is confirmed, readings from 2-6 mm paint thickness with digital paint gauge. Totally documented with maintenance journals from the Hamilton Ranch.
There are some surface marks and some surface rust but that's from years of use and should be kept this way. Too many FJ's are painted up restored buggies with no character left in the vehicle. It has a updated Power Steering, and 3 speed floor mounted shifter. Original in line 6 cyclinder with excellent compression (155 psi). All fluids replaced, electronic ignition, new tires, no leaks, runs and starts excellent, brand new 2 battery system and new correct interior seats. NO MODIFICATIONS ever done to this great FJ 40. Looks today just like it was built in 1969.
With regret, selling due to illness. Try to find a more original, preserved and documented FJ40?
