{LAST CHANCE} 1974 FJ-40 MUST SELL!!! IT GOES INTO THE GARAGE !ALMOST FINISHED!
Description
I have been restoring my 1974 toyota fj40 and i'm not going to be able to finish the restoration due to recent health issues and upcoming surgeries! it breaks my heart i have to sell it at this point in the restoratio, everything has been purchased and only a few more things have to be installed to complete this project. i have tons of "in progress" pictures upon request. i was going to be asking $42,000 at the completion but since my health has gotten bad and i'm scheduling my surgeries for the next couple weeks and months i just want to get out of it what is fair for me the owner and you the new buyer. i figure that $28,000 or close to that is fai, which is a fantastic deal for someone that can finish this and keep it or even a great deal for the restorer that will finish it and flip it. even if you paid someone else to finish it the price would be under $8000 since its all labor required to finish the project. WHAT STILL NEEDS TO BE DONE: replace OEM clutch with brand new centerforce dual friction clutc, install refurbished heater box, connect all dash push/pull rods, install new seats,i have all new brake pads but the original drum brakes are still very good,i also have a disc brake conversion that is included,i have a newly rebuilt OEM carb that is going on it but i do have the brand new weber carb conversion with THE MATCHING CLIFFORD CAMSHAFT that matches the performance of the weber carb. larry clifford (as a personal favor) ground me one of the very popular grinds for the 1F engine i havent installed it because the motor just runs so good now i didnt have the heart to start an engine job on it when it really doesnt need it yet. i have 5 brand new eagle alloy 15x10 rims with brand new pro comp extreme 33x12.50R15 TIRES,all the new lugs too. like i said everything is there to finish this job all but my failing health! the original wiring is still intact but i have new in box the correct waterproof PAINLESS harness to go in it too! i will have more pictures to add later this week . i bought this cruiser because it only had the rust on the rear sill like every other cruiser. the entire vehicle was taken to bare metal and you can see it will be hard to find another '74 with the original steel in that great condition. also the paint is PPG premium basecoat/clearcoat. there is nothing hiding under a ton of NO RUBBERIZED UNDERCOATING. i used the 3M ROCK GUARD in the front high traffic area of the floorboard just to give added protection and i have pictures of that application upon request. yes thats the OEM JACK AND HANDLES! i have a ton of pictures so feel free to shoot me a message if you have a certain question or want to see some additional pictures. 4 1/2" HELL FOR STOUT SUSPENSION LIFT 2 HELLA BLACK MAGIC OFF ROAD DRIVING LIGHTS HFS SHOCKS AND STABILIZER
all the old seam sealer has been removed and new fresh OEM seam sealer installed
you might think this is a high price tag for a cruiser that isnt completed but if you think of it like this $23500 buy it price - one month labor - you sell it for $45000 = $21500 for your one month of labor!
