Description

I'm unfortunately looking to sell my 68 Land Cruiser. I've only had it for a month or so. I bought it up in Oregon and shipped it down for a fun beach truck. I specifically bought this FJ for its lack of rust and completeness.

I'm selling due to just being approved to re-finance my house and would like the cash to pay closing costs. I never had a chance to put the FJ in my name. I still have the clean title from Oregon.
The FJ is a 5th vehicle for me, so it has to go, unless somebody has interest in another one of my cars.
The FJ has a 2F engine in it from a 77 FJ. It runs excellent. Just had the car rebuilt by A1 carbs in Escondido. The truck maintains its 3 on the tree and shifts great.
I haven't touched the 4wd yet. Both heaters work!
This FJ appears to originally have been a Capri Blue FJ. It has since been painted over.
I recently replaced the clutch master, clutch slave and brake master cylinders, and bled the system. All parts were ordered from Spector.
The only real rust on the car is at the bottom of the doors (primarily driver's door). See the pictures. The rest of the tub and undercarriage is great. As is under the dash.If you'd like to see pictures of underneath the FJ, I would be happy to provide them. There is no rust underneath. Only what you see on the two pics on the bottom of the doors.
Interior is extremely clean. The previous owner re-did the seats. While they aren't perfect by any means, they are still in great shape.
The panel that covers the rear hatch, where the interior handle is, is currently removed. There were a few rusted screws that were stuck in the door. I've since drilled them out. I ordered the proper Japanese size screws to put the panel back. 3 of the 10 holes will need to be appropriately tapped so they will be threaded again. Not a major issue.
I'm happy to answer any questions or take additional pictures if needed. FJ is available to see in Escondido.
I'd also be happy to take the FJ anywhere for an inspection if requested.I wouldn't mind assisting shipping this FJ if need be. It'll transport just fine on a auto transport. If deposit is not paid within 48 hours, the vehicle will be re-listed. Rest of purchase amount will be due within 5 days of auction end.
