This is a super nice 1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with 82,500 original miles. I have been driving her and she is a great driving and running truck and a pleasure to drive!Original 4.2 litre, 2F, 135 hp, inline 6-cyl engine with working original CA compliant smog equip. Power steering, power front disc with rear drum brakes, 4-speed fully synchronized transmission. She shifts well and quietly. Warn front hubs. Repainted OriginalColor. Original front seats with new vinyl and original vinyl upholstery on rear jump seats. Original mats front and rear, original radio (not connected), new 17” powder coated rims, new Bridgestone tires.

Vehicle was recently smog certified & registered in CA. All cylinders compression tested at 127 to 130 psi and it uses no oil. The truck has been fully serviced and drives beautifully. All lights and signals are fullyfunctional. Both front doors were dis-assembled and all new felt window guides installed. New door seals along with the regulators and latches cleaned and lubed.

The body is excellent and 99.5% free of rust. There are a few tiny bubbles on the rocker and below 4WD emblem on the rear quarter that are pictured. The floors, wheel tubs, fenders, cowl, bib, doors and undercarriage are all great.

All new roof seals, hard top base seals, windshield to top seals. Originally sold by a SoCal dealer. I have original framed window sticker, owners manual, service manual, factory tool kit. inspection light, jack & jack rods and all keys.

Mechanically excellent, she's been well maintained and driven sparingly. Everything works,turnsignals, lights, wipers, taillights, backup lights, license plate lights, side markers and all gauges work and dome light.
